Rain Against My Window!!!

We have had so much rain in the past two days that I can barely believe it. I not talking some light hearted, pitter patter rain, I'm talking serious downpour, monsoon type rain BUT this is England, we don't have this kind of tropical downpour! Imagine---I have my two little cousins with me, we just watched Transformers, we attempt to leave the cinema but the heavens have opened and a months worth of rain is falling from the sky. I have one TEENY TINY umbrella BUT surprisingly enough we all managed to stay dry!!!

It wasn't til I returned home that my mom told me that my brother was here with his friend who happens to be deaf (almost totally but with hearing aid he can pick up some sound) and while playing on that XBOX they saw the lightening strike land in our front garden. Apparently, the force of it was so loud that his deaf friend flew out of the sofa and jumped across his lap and curled into a ball before his startled eyes. Now, that I wish I'd seen. PRICELESS. But thank goodness it hit outside that was very fortunate indeed.
