Pissy Paradise

I remember coming home from school and watching Super Gran. I used all there was to life was to live and grow old. How wrong was I!!!!! When I watched Super Gran I didn't know anything about old peoples care homes. How strange? I knew all about children's homes but not old peoples.....maybe this was because they didn't affect me.

Well on Saturday i visited an old peoples care home and yes yes I'm referring to it as pissy paradise. But that's just my sense of humour----it's far from being a PARADISE!!!! It's a depressing hell hole and I've decided no matter what if my mom gets dementia or whatever I'm not putting her into one of those places. I know it's a lot of work to do BUT after being twice to an old peoples home i couldn't DO it. It's a living nightmare---they are all just SITTING there waiting to DIE. It smells!!!!

Bless the people doing the job BUT it doesn't half pong. The restroom area is just full of old people SITTING doing nothing. It's no wonder they deteriorate so rapidly in those places---a place of pills and ZERO stimulation. Just sit there FESTER and ROT!!!! It's awful. I wouldn't wish a trip to pissy paradise on anyone. If you have never experienced an old peoples home----it's something everyone should experience just once. I know it's hard work but it would be so much better if you went there and it didn't smell and if the old people weren't just congregated in a room doing nothing!!!!!
