These cool commercials are coming on TV a lot recently in the UK and I think they're so awesome. When I was at school everyone hated learning languages but me being the geek that i am, i totally loved learning French. Unfortunately a lot of the British are really ignorant when it comes to learning another language, i remember at school all my friends were like why should we learn French or Spanish they all speak English. Well, that is true BUT i was always embarrassed that i couldn't speak another persons language.
Well, I hope these commercials help to encourage people to learn another language, as i think communication is so important. I'm thinking about trying life in a different country so maybe I've got my own motives but hey isn't it nice to say a few words to someone in their own language when visiting their homeland.
Anyways, this commercial is so cool.....to me anyways!!! I just wanted to share it but being a chatterbox I couldn't resist saying a few words.
Cool commercial and nice post....I personally believe that a person should know a minimum of three languages....anyway, great blog. :)
